Dan Fender cuts float weight by 24kgs
Denmark-based Dan Fender says its trawl-float fender can cut 24kgs off the weight of a traditional float system. It produces the special Skaw fender for Polar Skagen in Denmark. They are filled with a special polyurethane mixture in liquid form that hardens to produce a rigid float that works down to 50 metres but specials can be made to go down to 200m.
