Sergio Guevara

Sergio Guevara is an Oceanologist from the Autonomus University of Baja California (UABC),and holds a master degree in Economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) for which he received an Honorable Mention. Also conducted postgraduate studies at the Free University of Berlin in Economics. He has 25 years experience cultivating mussels and oysters in open ocean conditions as well as protected areas. Sergio Guevara is Founder, President and Majority Shareholder of the following companies; Acuacultura Oceanica, Intermareal and Acuacultura Integral de Baja California. These companies are dedicated to cultivating mediterranean mussels and pacific oysters for the US Market. In addition to his business acumen, Sergio recently held the position of President of the Committee for Aquaculture Sanitation in Baja California for 6 years.
