Planned technical visits
The organisers of the Offshore Mariculture Conference taking place in Mexico are in the process of putting together a comprehensive list of technical visits to complement the conference.
Following last year’s popular and engaging visit to Piscicoltura del Golfo di Gaeta (P2G) fish farm, Naples, Mercator Media, the Conference organisers are working on a day and a half of technical visits in Mexico. These plans for visits will include striped bass offshore fish farm where the fish are fully reared in seawater. A visit to Ensenada University, where they are running the totoaba endangered species programme, plus a visit to a hatchery of yellow tail.
The Offshore Mariculture Conference, being held in conjunction with Inapesca* and Sepesca*, will take place in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
The final plans for the technical visits will be released shortly, for further information, call the Conference Team on +44 1329 825335 or email conferences@offshoremariculture.com.
