This year Morgère will be at IceFish in its usual spot with their Ísfell colleagues on stand D20, where they will be presenting the Exocet trawl doors that have performed well across the company's markets around the world, as well as the recently introduced Osprey semi-pelagic doors.

"The Exocet doors have proved themselves," said Morgère's François Charrayre. "These are very efficient bottom doors and are in use around the world. Now we are also introducing the Osprey doors, these are a semi-pelagic design that has been developed to fish either on or off the bottom. These have been going through a test period on a number of French trawlers and soon we expect to expand the testing to other countries as well."

He commented that IceFish is a key event for Morgère and the company has long been a regular presence at the exhibition.

"It's an important show for us because fishermen come from many countries to see new products there," he said.

"We are very much aware that skippers have a strong interest in new products such as trawl doors that have the potential to save fuel and money, and provide them with better performance. IceFish is a good platform for us to meet and discuss with both clients and our future clients."
