The Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition has been running every three years since 1984 and has developed into one of the world''s premier fishing events. Some 13,000m2 of exhibition area inside and outside is home to nearly 800 exhibitors from over 35 countries during the four day show. Iceland is in the forefront of embracing and manufacturing the latest products that are driving the industry. This should come as no surprise when you are considering a nation with 62% of total exports coming from fish or fish related products. The value of Iceland''s seafood export currently amounts to almost 1.5 billion US$ and by choosing to stay outside of the European Union Iceland has ensured that it has maintained total control of its own fish stocks and quotas.
It is the must see fishing exhibition of 2005, if you want to update yourself with the latest designs and technology including vessel design building/brokerage, fish monitoring equipment, catching equipment, handling and storage, processing/weighing/grading equipment, services and marketing right through to the final product displayed by international and Icelandic manufacturers/suppliers.

The living exhibition:
Sometimes visiting an exhibition is not quite enough to get the full feel of the abilities of the exhibiting companies and their products. We offer a unique pre-show service where you can register your interest for a specific Iceland based company prior to the show. We will do an introduction between you and the company giving the two of you the possibility to set up a meeting, for example, at the factory to see more of the machinery in action.
To register your interest in the "living exhibition" please give the company name you are interested in being introduced to, alternatively send us a concise description of the product/machinery that you are looking for. In both cases we require a short description of your own business/company including full contact details. Your request should be sent to
