On Monday 23 of March, Fibras Industriales S.A., commercially known as FISA, started a gradual ramp up of production so it could supply urgent necessities of its fishing and aquaculture customers thus supporting crucial requirement during Covid-19 crisis.
This ramp up follows the emergency national health lockdown imposed by the Peruvian government on the 15th of March.
To initiate operations, the National Superintendency of Labor Inspection known as SUNAFIL had to visit the company and audit all health controls were up to protocol standards.
FISA offers a wide variety nets, ropes and cords manufactured with Nylon, Polyester, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Polypropylene and UHMWPE . FISA offers its customers twisted and braided knotted netting as well as knotless Raschel and twisted knotless Muketsu Netting. Recently, FISA has made available to its customers a 3rd generation HDPE product called SUPRA. SUPRA has been widely used in trawling, purse seine and aquaculture cages and pred nets.
