Food processing solutions provider, Baader has established a holding company to help establish the company as a European group.
The legal entity of Baader Global SE will provide the ideal framework to use its business units and subsidiaries to drive growth in both Germany and abroad, says the company.

The ownership structure will be unchanged with the company owned solely by the Baader family, whilst the holding company retains its existing management structure of two managing directors – Dr Norbert Engberg, Poultry Business Unit and Digitalization Business Unit, and Robert Focke, Fish Business Unit.
Torsten Krausen, chief finance officer at Baader said that the new company provides a ‘roof’ for the entire group. “It underscores that Baader is an international company and that we want to continue to grow,” he said. “As a European group, we will thrive from the professional standards we will submit to while maintaining our corporate culture responsible for our excellent reputation among our customers and workforce.”
With more than 100 years of experience, Baader employs more than 1,400 staff worldwide across over 100 countries on six continents.
Headquartered in Luebeck, Germany and with direct representation in 25 other international locations, the company has recently opened new sites in France and Poland and strengthened its presence in Iceland, China, and Mexico.
