Cosalt has a long history of supplying and servicing safety equipment for the fishing industry, with origins dating back to 1873 and its initial cooperative offering fisherman products to enable them to carry out their work efficiently and safely.
Today Cosalt supplies, services and hires liferafts, being a major distributor for the Survitec Group with 19 authorised service stations in the UK and Europe.
The company will be exhibiting a range of products at the World Fishing Exhibition including lifejackets (Cosalt is the parent company of Crewsaver one of the world's leading manufacturers of inflatable lifejackets), lifebuoys (the famous Perrybuoy), pyrotechnics, lifejacket and lifebuoy lights, EPIRBS, SARTS and PLBs (Cosalt will be displaying the ACR range of products) and fire equipment as well as the company's own range of flotation clothing.
A sample of the rope products and fishing equipment offered by the company will also be on display.
With the advent of new legislation on lifejackets coming into force in 2010, Cosalt says that it is at the forefront of design and innovation with the Cosalt 2010 Premier Lifejacket which will be on the stand.
