Business and organisations are invited to learn about opportunities and technologies for using Earth Observation techniques (including, satellites, high altitude platforms, drones, remote sensors etc) at a number of workshops being organised by the SpaceWave European funded project.

Opportunities for Earth Observation techniques

Workshops are being held in the UK, Italy and France, with the sea fisheries event held on 9th July 10.30-12.20am at Harwell in Oxfordshire. The satellite applications in aquaculture workshop is hosted by Planetek and takes place at Bari in Italy on 9th July 14.00-17.00pm.

Two workshops held in France on 17th July are the water-level rise and coastal erosion event taking place 9.00-11.30am and hosted by Aerospace Valley, and the monitoring and surveillance of the marine environment, taking place 13.00-16.00, hosted by Pole Mer Mediterranee.

All of the workshops are also access online via an webinar.

The workshop/webinars will facilitate discussion among a group of experts and commercial organisations in order to explore real opportunities, solutions and challenges in these areas.
