A new longliner - F/V ‘Leinebris’ – has been delivered to its Norwegian owner, Leinebris AS.
The vessel is a Skipsteknisk design, ST-156L type longliner-gilnetter and was built by Tersan Shipyard in Turkey.
The vessel is equipped with diesel electric propulsion both aft and forward, and is specially designed for hauling fishing gear through a moonpool in the centreline of the ship. This extends the operability of the vessel under severe weather conditions, also supported by high manoeuvrability and station keeping capability.
Leinebris was built under the supervision of DNV GL and Norwegian Flag authorities.
