On show in Brussels will be four entirely new products as well as a number of items introduced in the past 12 months.

New at Brussels

The RoboBatcher Thermoformer packs portions at high speed, automatically adjusting processing based on which product weights and sizes best match the order requirements. The re-released Compact Grader has a new display and multiple programs and uses Innova Food Processing Software to give a full overview of the process by using real-time monitoring.

Also on show is the FleXicut pinboner and fillet portioner with FleXitrim trimming line and new M2400 scales, an upgrade on the 30 year old M2200.

Salmon processing

Three new products released this year to help improve salmon processing results are the QC Scanner, the PaceInfeeder for the Filleting Machine and the FleXicut Salmon.

At the launch of these new products at the Salmon ShowHow in February, Sigurdur Ólason, executive vice president of Marel Fish said, "All three of the new releases are examples of how we make salmon processing more intelligent, and therefore more efficient, more sustainable, more profitable."

Marel also released a new software module earlier in the year for improving salmon filleting results. Innova for Salmon Filleting provides equipment control and real-time monitoring to help improve the overall performance of the filleting line.
