Maras will be exhibiting its new engine package for boat builders at Icefish 2008 – a package described by managing director, Gudmundur Bragason as "all the best stuff together".
The company will be exhibiting with FAJ (Fridrik A. Jónsson EHF – an electrical distributor) for the first time this year.

Mr Bragason tells World Fishing that business is good and the company is signing new contracts every month.
A contract has recently been signed to supply the engine package for a small longliner for Grindavik in Iceland to fish for cod. The vessel was built by Samtak ehf and will be exhibited at the show.
The company is currently working on packages for three major boat builders in Iceland and will hopefully sign the contracts before Icefish in October.
Maras will also sign a contract at Icefish to begin distribution of the Scantrol iSYM catch control system.
