“The straight stack 70l plastic ''Craebox'' has proved to be a great success for Boxpool Solutions in Scotland in developing their box rental business," says Chris Neill, Craemer''s sales director, plastic materials handling.
He says that this is due to its better design, extra strengthening concepts and high product quality.
Craemer has been manufacturing quality plastic fish boxes for over 30 years, mainly from its factory in Germany and more recently from a brand new facility in Telford England where the Craeboxes are produced.
The nesting boxes include 50kg, 40kg and 20kg sizes. Another new recent development is a 30kg nesting box, which is based on an 800mm x 400mm and is perfect for transport. It not only includes well known Craemer features such as high quality HDPE virgin material for strength and hygiene, but also arrow markings for stacking, special drainage appreciated by the box washers and improved catch quality.
Craemer produces a wide range of products for the industry as well as boxes, plastic fish baskets, plastic hygiene pallets, tubs and bins. Future investments will see the first Craemer 'closed deck' plastic pallet hit the marketplace by Christmas, which will be much welcomed by processors and the food industry in general, says Mr Neill.
