The Marine Management Organisation is reminding those seeking grants for large or technical projects from European Fisheries Fund (EFF) that the deadline for applications is 14 January 2013.

This deadline is for projects costing more than £100,000 - projects costing under £100,000 can be submitted at any time.
The next panel meets during week commencing 11 March 2013 and to be considered at this panel applications must be received in full by 5pm on 14 January 2013. In 2012 more than £4 million has been invested into the English fisheries sector from the EFF.
The EFF scheme is open all year round for receipt of applications. Depending on the type, size and cost of a project, a decision will either be considered by the selection panel or, for smaller projects, by the EFF team on an ongoing basis.
The scheme ends on 31 December 2013 and funding is still available.
