At Danfish, Cosmos will be presenting the latest developments in the Hampidjan Group’s Self-Spreading Helix trawls; latest updates and feedback from the Dynex Warps; and the latest developments of Poly-Ice Xstream trawl doors.
From the company's own product range, focus will be on Cosmos' Helix midwater trawls, where the company continues to increase its market share on its home market, and where the trawls are already a best seller in Cosmos' large Swedish market – as well as in Morocco where some Swedes also fish.
In addition, shrimp trawls and ground fish trawls have been very big so far in 2009, with increasing sales to Greenland, Canada, Norway and Russia. So the Cosmos sales team will also be presenting some of the latest developments and trends.
"With the company being situated less than one hour's drive from the exhibition centre in Aalborg, Cosmos uses every opportunity to promote this particular show towards our many customers and contacts around the world," Deputy Director, Lars Jensen tells World Fishing.
"During the last year we have, moreover, seen a growing demand for our efficient semi-pelagic trawls, for smaller and medium size vessels, and where we already have significant experience from our base in Finland. Requests and supplies are going as far as to the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea," concludes Mr Jensen.
