After several years of standstill, maritime workstations manufacturer, Flexibridge, is planning a triumphant return to the maritime market.

Founded in 2000 and acquired in 2004 by Steinsvik Group, Flexibridge has not operated any form of active sales in recent times, instead servicing only a few loyal customers.

All that is set to change, explained managing director, Sveinung Pile. “Already in the first conversation with a former customer of Flexibridge, I got the feeling that this is a company that has been missed by its clients,” he said.

“The history of the company is simply impressive and being able to take the lead in this new chapter in Flexibridge’s history is a task I look upon with great enthusiasm and joy," he added.

The work of rebuilding Flexibridge is well underway, and representatives from the company have already paid a visit to Aqua-Nor in Trondheim to rekindle relationships with former clients.

"The fishing industry has been and will be very important to Flexibridge,” continued Mr Pile. “Even though the company didn’t perform any active sales in the past years we are proud to say we delivered module-based bridge consoles to the well-known hybrid well-boat Ro Vision back in 2020, also awarded with the ship of the year award,” he said.

The forthcoming months will be occupied with further development of the product range and launching new product solutions.
