On Friday 22 August, Peter Forsythe''s wife Fiona named the Boys Pride N174 at a ceremony at Banff Marina, Scotland watched by family and friends before the vessel set sail home to Kilkeel.

Built for Mr Forsythe and his son, Neal from Kilkeel, N. Ireland, the Gemini G10 bare hull was fitted out by Seaway Marine for potting and mussel dredging.

The overall length of the vessel is 9.9m with a 5.2m beam and 1.4m draft.

The vessel is powered by two L136 Daewoo Eegines supplied by WaterMota.

Wills Ridley supplied the steering system and the controls are from Kobelt.

The electronic equipment consists of:

• Koden CVS833 dual frequency 8" colour LCD sounder with ground discrimination transducer

• Navitron NT921 MK 11 autopilot

• Two Koden KGP-915 GPS navigators

• JRC JLR 20 satellite compass

• JRC JFC 130BB sounder

• Icom IC-M411DSC

• IC-M401E VHFs

Seawinch supplied the hauler, Swan Net Gundry supplied the potting gear, the propellers and stern gear are from Clements Engineering and the electronics have been supplied and commissioned by Selex Communication.
