Baltic Marine Contractors’ (BMC) main office is located in Tallinn and offers mechanical and electrical services for MaK marine customers in The Baltic States and in Finland.
In cooperation with one of BMC’s European partners, Bolier, the company has established an office in Rotterdam, even though it is far away from Finland and the Baltic States.
BMC is also partnered with Pon Power Scandinavia, a company offering mechanical and electrical services of Cat and MaK engines in Scandinavia. Both Pon Power Scandinavia and BMC have certified Caterpillar Service Technicians with exceptional skills within electrical service of all kinds of engines.
BMC says that electrical service is one of the most important services for all kinds of vessels, as engines, radars, monitors, control modules etc are based on complex electrical components that can stop the ship from making money if they stop functioning.
BMC is able to make vibration analysis (to make sure the engine is stable and uses its power for the main purpose only) and thermographic photos (to see if there are leaks in the engine) to make sure, that the engine works as well as possible for the vessel –meaning less downtime and less cost for the owner.
