Mitsui & Co is investing in the world’s largest shrimp farmer to add value to its food and nutrition business

Mitsui & Co is to buy a stake worth US$360 million in the world’s largest shrimp farmer.

Industrial Pesquera Santa Priscila is based in Ecuador and will become an equity method affiliate of Mitsui once the deal goes through in March 2024, assuming necessary approvals are granted.
