The programme for the Aquaculture – Driving Sustainable Growth conference has been released, bringing together operators, technology providers and policymakers to address the practical challenges shaping the sector.

Opening with a focus on blue food futures, the conference will explore how policy, partnerships and governance underpin long-term growth. Egill Þorri Steingrimsson (MAST) will examine the role of trust, regulation and standards in unlocking international market access, alongside contributions from Clara Jegousse (Iceland Ocean Cluster).

A strong operational focus follows in sessions on production, feeds and RAS, featuring Brett Glencross (IFFO), as well as case-led insights into fish welfare, feed performance and efficiency, including real-world results from Moleaer and Addcon.

The afternoon programme turns to AI and emerging technologies, with speakers from Baader, Oxyguard, EquaFish, Avascope and AquaBioTech Group demonstrating how data-driven tools are improving feeding, welfare monitoring and risk management across farms.

The day concludes with a focus on investable infrastructure, with perspectives from NP Innovation and Gael Force on delivering resilient, scalable aquaculture systems.

The conference will be chaired by Ólöf Helga Jónsdóttir, CPO, Kaldvik and Board Member, IAOF Iceland Aquaculture and Ocean Forum.

Across the programme, the emphasis is clear: practical solutions, collaboration and scalable approaches that support sustainable growth across the aquaculture value chain.
