How the future of blue food depends on building growth through trust

The presentation will argue that effective policy, strong official oversight, and credible standards in food safety, animal health and welfare are not barriers to growth, but essential foundations for sustainable expansion and international market access. Drawing on Iceland’s experience, I will also highlight the importance of partnership across government, regulators, science and industry to ensure that blue food develops in a way that is safe, responsible and globally competitive.
