Change of date and venue confirmed

Mercator Media, organisers of the Offshore Mariculture Conference 2010, have announced new dates for the conference to avoid a clash with another European event. Mercator Media made the change as they feel a clash of dates would not benefit those wishing to attend both events. Therefore Offshore Mariculture 2010 will be held from the 16-18 June 2010 and the venue has been confirmed as the Hilton Imperial Hotel, Dubrovnik, Croatia.

The technical conference will be held on the 16 & 17 June whilst fish farm visits will take place on the 18 June. The Conference Networking Dinner will take place on the evening of Wednesday, 16 June 2010 at the fabulous Revelin Fortress which was built in 1462 to provide protection to the Eastern City Gate Place. Overlooking the Old City Harbour, the Revelin’s terrace offers, what are probably the best views of the Old City and its famous Harbour.

A programme of events will also be available for partners of attendees wanting to visit this fantastic city, that is a World Heritage Site, and which is often described as the Pearl of the Adriatic. Special rates have been agreed for delegates staying at the Hilton Imperial Hotel and the rates will also be available to those wishing to stay on to see the many wonderful sites Dubrovnik has to offer.

The 2010 Offshore Mariculture Conference will be the third in this series of successful events aimed at growing offshore fish farming businesses and will explore the progress and prospects for offshore aquaculture in European and international waters. The Conference will again be supported by the European Aquaculture Society.
Companies, organisations and individuals are invited to put forward papers to be delivered at the conference.
