Dr Panagiotis Efstathiou

Dr Panagiotis Efstathiou M.D., Ph.D. has finished the Military Medical School at the University of Thessaloniki -Greece and has taken his Ph.D. from the Athens Medical School. He has been trained at New York University for Surgery. He has been dealing with Antimicrobial Copper, for about ten years and has written and publish many scientific papers on the use of Antimicrobial Copper and the protection it provides to reduce microbial infections. He is Scientific Consultant of the Hellenic Copper Development Institute since 2010 and deals with aquacultures and application of copper alloys cages. The main research interest of the Panos Efstathiou M.D., Ph.D. are the applications of copper alloys cages in aquaculture and the impact which has this material in Health development of fish and Economic parameters relating to aquaculture industry.
