Klettur - sala og þjónusta Ltd is a sales and service company in the fishing industry. They are the agents and vendors for: Caterpillar, Perkins, ZF, Ingersoll Rand, Scania, MCFE, Schäfer, Piller, Ulma and Good Year.
The main activities are carried out in a 4,400 square meters facilety at Klettagörður 8-10. The company works according to strict procedures of Caterpillar and Scania, who come on a regular basis to inspect our conditions. Caterpillar works by a system they call Contamination control and Klettur has been awarded 5 stars out of 5 possible. Scania, on the other hand, operates according to DOS, Dealer Operating Standards, which is similar to ISO9000, and Klettur is fully certified. The company has about 100 employees both in Reykjavík and in Akureyri. Klettur has in Reykjavík one of the best workshops in the country with 26 drive-in doors, a very good workshop in Akureyri and three tyre workshops in Reykjavík and surounding area. Klettur has 10 service vehicles and offers emergency services 24/7/365 for workshops, spare parts and tyres. Klettur is also working with certified service companyes in each quarter of the country.
