With more than three decades of experience in food safety and product development, Ms Malkoski\u2019s background conducting audits, both domestically and internationally, is well known. She\u2019s celebrated for meeting high standards for some of the most recognisable names in the seafood community.<\/p>\n
\u201cMargaret has been in the trenches,\u201d said NFI\u2019s vice president for regulatory and technical affairs, Lisa Weddig. \u201cShe\u2019ll be a tremendous asset to our members because she not only knows the science but also knows how it impacts businesses and how to be a resource in real time.\u201d<\/p>\n
With a background in marine biology from the University of Dartmouth and specialisations in HACCP, product development, quality and auditing, Ms Malkoski was the chair of NFI\u2019s own Technical Committee for sixteen years. Ms Malkoski\u2019s scientific expertise and vast industry experience will integrate well with NFI\u2019s regulatory policy portfolio.<\/p>\n
