{"id":9754,"date":"2016-03-14T12:02:00","date_gmt":"2016-03-14T12:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldfishing.nfdtesting.uk\/icefish-conference\/2016\/03\/14\/superfishoil-campaign-from-seafish\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T00:15:47","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T23:15:47","slug":"superfishoil-campaign-from-seafish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldfishing.net\/icefish-conference\/news\/industry-news\/superfishoil-campaign-from-seafish\/","title":{"rendered":"Superfishoil campaign from Seafish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While 69% of adults in the UK were unaware of the recommendation that they should eat two portions of fish each week, and one of those should be oily fish.<\/p>\n<p>The research was conducted as a part of Seafish\u2019s Superfishoil campaign which is spearheaded by celebrity chef and restaurateur, John Torode.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cI support the \u2018Superfishoil\u2019 campaign from Seafish and hope that it will encourage people to eat more seafood, especially oily fish.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a wide variety of delicious and affordable produce out there, from mackerel and kippers to sardines and crab. Seafood is so versatile; it can be used to make so many fantastic dishes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eating two portions of fish each week could dramatically reduce the risk of heart diseases.
