Fishing has been very good along the bank off the Reynis Deeps over the last few days reported HB Grandi. According to skipper Kristj\u00e1n Thorvar\u00f0arson, the mackerel are a good size with little feed in them and they are keeping away from the herring.<\/p>\n

More pelagic boats<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIt looks to us as if the fish is heading eastwards along the bank, and there\u2019s certainly some making its way westwards along the coast as well. We\u2019ve also heard that there\u2019s fishing for mackerel in Greenlandic waters, so we can only be optimistic,\u201d Mr Thorvar\u00f0arson stated, commenting that it\u2019s positive that there are more pelagic boats joining in the fishing.<\/p>\n \u201cIt makes searching much easier. The Westmann Islands fleet is all on mackerel now and so are the Hornafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur boats.
