The new vessel will be rented out to SalMar ASA.<\/p>\n<p>The as yet unnamed vessel will be similar to <em>Ro Vision<\/em> but has some differences. \u201cFor an untrained eye it will probably look like a copy of <em>Ro Vision<\/em>, but some assignment-specific adjustments have been made internally and Rostein are focused on constant development at all times,\u201d explained Skipskompetanse chief executive, Per J\u00f8rgen Silden. \u201cEven though things have worked well on previous vessels, they want the new vessels to keep on improving,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Chief executive of SalMar Farming, Roger Bekken, said the company was focused on creating jobs and supporting the local community. \u201cWith the choice of Rostein as a partner, we know that Norwegian maritime suppliers will have increased activity with this new vessel,\u201d he said, adding that further reducing salmon\u2019s already low carbon footprint was also important. \u201cIt was important to us that the sister ship [to <em>Ro Vision<\/em>] also is equipped as a battery hybrid,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Owner and chief executive of Rostein, Odd Einar Sand\u00f8y, also emphasised the cooperation between the companies adding that all of Rostein\u2019s 16 vessels have been equipped in Norway.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The collaboration between Skipskompetanse, Rostein and Larsnes Mek.
