{"id":5561,"date":"2021-04-07T07:30:00","date_gmt":"2021-04-07T06:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldfishing.nfdtesting.uk\/icefish-conference\/2021\/04\/07\/hybrid-seiner-ordered-for-norwegian-owners\/"},"modified":"2026-08-26T23:54:48","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T22:54:48","slug":"hybrid-seiner-ordered-for-norwegian-owners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldfishing.net\/icefish-conference\/news\/vessels-shipyards\/hybrid-seiner-ordered-for-norwegian-owners\/","title":{"rendered":"Hybrid seiner ordered for Norwegian owners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Nord-Fugloy<\/em> is to be built to a Skipskompetanse SK-3151 design for Roger Nilsen, who fishes from Nord-Lenange in the north of Norway.<\/p>\n<p>It will be the yard\u2019s 69th newbuild and <em>Nord-Fugl\u00f8y<\/em> has been designed to dovetail with the owner\u2019s operational requirements, with a flexible arrangement of RSW tanks and capacity to freeze catches at sea, with a 300m<sup>3<\/sup> refrigerated capacity and a 499m<sup>3<\/sup> RSW tank capacity, as well as options for carrying live fish in 400m<sup>3<\/sup> of the tank space on board.<\/p>\n<p>As well as a Yanmar 6EY26 main engine, <em>Nord-Fugl\u00f8y<\/em> will have a 1000kW\/h battery pack.
