In the first nine months of 2010, the EU imported more than 259,800 tonnes of seafood products from Vietnam, valued over $826.7 million (\u20ac597.2 million), an increase of 6.3% compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\">In the same period, shrimp continued to be the leader in Vietnam\u2019s seafood exports (up 22.1% against 2009).
