Einar trained as an engineer, joining fishing company Haraldur B\u00f6\u00f0varsson thirty years ago which became Brim after merging with Grandi.<\/p>\n
“After a long and satisfactory career with one company, I was looking for a change of direction to do something new but keeping the connection with the work I\u2019ve been doing for the last few decades,” explained Einar.<\/p>\n
“My job at Hampi\u00f0jan is about maintaining the contacts in the market for demersal and pelagic trawl gear here in Iceland, where everyone knows everyone. We can say that now I\u2019ll be on the other side of the table, and I\u2019m looking forward to taking on a demanding, varied and interesting role in sales and marketing with Hampi\u00f0jan,” he added.<\/p>\n
