In total the MFA received 181 applications.<\/p>\n<p>Bids for scrapping were assessed on a competitive basis talking into account pressure stocks identified and vessel capacity units \u2013 calculated by boat length x width x engine power.<\/p>\n<p>In the first phase offers of just over \u00a34 million were paid out to the owners of 57 vessels.
