It incorporates Young\u2019s unique supplier audit process which generates a risk assessment of each individual fishery, directing Young\u2019s purchasing strategies and allowing it to focus on areas of concern with producers.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year Young\u2019s commissioned an audit by respected independent consultancy, Bodycote Lawlabs. This process has now validated the Fish for Life approach and confirmed that Young\u2019s is applying a robust methodology in assessing the sustainability of supplier fisheries.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Parker (who as deputy CEO of Young\u2019s also has overall responsibility for seafood sourcing) says, \u201cFish for Life has become a fundamental cornerstone of our business, so we felt it was crucial to subject its processes to proper independent scrutiny.
