Baldvin Johnsen joins Skaginn 3X as chief financial officer, coming from Norway-based FrigoCare, a subsidiary of Icelandic shipping firm Samskip, where he was responsible for finance operations before becoming managing director.<\/p>\n
Baldvin Johnsen has worked in the fisheries industry for the past 13 years. Prior to his roles at Frigocare he was treasury manager at Iceland-based \u00cdsf\u00e9lag Vestamannaeyja and was responsible for the financial and risk management of the company.<\/p>\n
Other appointments include Alda Hl\u00edn Karlsd\u00f3ttir who joined Skaginn 3X last year and will manage the sales and marketing team in close cooperation with Ing\u00f3lfur \u00c1rnason, the managing director and founder of the company. She will also manage Skaginn 3X\u2019s Reykjav\u00edk office.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining Skaginn 3X, Alda Hl\u00edn Karlsd\u00f3ttir worked as director of operations for Iceland-based seafood company, Icelandic Group. She has several years of experience in sales and operational affairs and has worked for municipalities and in finance.<\/p>\n
J\u00f3n Birgir Gunnarsson, former head of sales and marketing for Skaginn 3X, has resigned and taken on a new role as chief executive of Icelandic window firm, Gluggasmi\u00f0jan.<\/p>\n
