{"id":11417,"date":"2017-12-11T09:22:00","date_gmt":"2017-12-11T09:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldfishing.nfdtesting.uk\/icefish-conference\/2017\/12\/11\/hb-grandi-wetfish-trawler-delivered\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T00:20:05","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T23:20:05","slug":"hb-grandi-wetfish-trawler-delivered","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldfishing.net\/icefish-conference\/news\/vessels-shipyards\/hb-grandi-wetfish-trawler-delivered\/","title":{"rendered":"HB Grandi wetfish trawler delivered"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vi\u00f0ey is the last of a trio of wetfish trawlers that have been built for HB Grandi by Celiktrans Shipyard, which also built HB Grandi\u2019s pelagic vessels Venus and V\u00edkingur.<\/p>\n<p>As well as the yard\u2019s directors, Vi\u00f0ey\u2019s departure from the shipyard was attended by HB Grandi CEO Vilhj\u00e1lmur Vilhj\u00e1lmsson, director of groundfish operations Torfi Thorsteinsson, director of pelagic operations Gar\u00f0ar Svavarsson, financial director J\u00f3nas Gu\u00f0bj\u00f6rnsson and Alfre\u00f0 Tulin\u00edus, managing director of Nautic ehf, who designed the series of the wetfish trawlers.<\/p>\n<p>Vi\u00f0ey is now in the hands of skipper J\u00f3hannes Ellert Eir\u00edksson, and with him are chief mate P\u00e9tur P\u00e9tursson, second mate Gu\u00f0laugur L.
