The small data logger stores the data in its internal memory and is battery powered. The DST Comp-Tilt has enhanced resolution and accuracy compared to Star-Oddi&#8217;s earlier models, DST Compass and DST Pitch &amp; Roll.<\/p>\n<p>DST Comp-Tilt is operated with the communication box reader and supporting software. The user sets the start time and sampling interval for the recordings. Data is uploaded to a PC computer where measurements are shown in graph and table along with date and time.<\/p>\n<p>The Compass-Tilt logger is ideal for use on ROVs, fishing gear and other underwater equipment although it is designed as a fish tag, giving new insights into the behavior and navigation of various fish species.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Star-Oddi has launched a new data logger that combines compass and tilt measurements.
