Cut & Pack features the combined advantages of the ScanPortioner B36 Portion Cutter and AEW Delford\u2019s Intelligent Portion Loading Robot (IPL Robot). The Cut & Pack line is capable of loading as many as 160 salmon portions per minute directly into thermoformers.<\/p>\n
A ScanPortioner B36 Portion Cutter controls the line by first scanning the product to determine where the cuts are to be made to produce the fixed weight portions. A vision system communicates the location of the portions to the IPL Robot which then gently picks them up and loads them directly into a packing machines, e.g. thermoformers. All of this is done without manual intervention.<\/p>\n
