The radars will be integrated with the vessel\u2019s electronic chart display and information system and voyage data recorder, and will provide the conference room with live information from the bridge operation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMilj\u00f8dronningen\u201d will serve as a floating conference centre and environmental surveillance platform. It will also conduct a variety of subsea environmental research studies and serve as a floating \u2018green laboratory\u2019 for demonstrating environmentally-friendly solutions in materials and construction. The 33.9m (108ft) catamaran is being built at the Fjellstrand shipyard in Hardanger and is scheduled to be delivered in September 2007. It is designed for operation in icy waters of the northern Barents Sea, Svalbard and North Sea.<\/p>\n<p>VisionMaster FT radars incorporate Sperry Marine\u2019s proprietary automatic clutter suppression technology, which facilitates detecting and identifying small, weak targets in the presence of sea and rain clutter.
