The company said: “The tube is a truly, two- stage, fluidised bed freezer in which the product is carried by an upward air pressure through the freezer. The vibrating bed also keeps the products constantly moving, ensuring perfect separation. The FZ1 crust freezes in the airflow, (the quicker the crust freezing takes place, the better the end quality). The oversized evaporator also gives lower average temperature for quicker crust freezing. The FZ2 bedplate trough freezes the product at a slower pace and less air pressure and movement reduce damage.”<\/p>\n
IQF says the company took cleaning into account when it designed the tube so it was easy and efficient and the two bedplates are just removed through infeed\/outfeed doors. The tube can be spray cleaned from the outside through these and also the inspection windows.<\/p>\n
The whole end of the tube is a lateral door that slides open on guiders.<\/p>\n
Cleaning water drains by gravity through the open rear door.<\/p>\n
The evaporator, accessible from both sides, can be spray-cleaned from inside or outside the tube.<\/p>\n
