The PI44 catch monitoring system was launched at Fishing 2005 and has<\/p>\n
already received three orders each with a range of different sensors. The<\/p>\n
system builds on the highly regarded PI32 catch monitoring system by<\/p>\n
offering increased number of sensor inputs, larger screens and upgraded<\/p>\n
operation.<\/p>\n
Simrad Ltd also received orders for several ES60 professional echosounders<\/p>\n
during the exhibition. Some were taken as standalone systems whilst others<\/p>\n
where taken in combination with the Olex 3D mapping system. As the UK<\/p>\n
distributor for Olex, Simrad Ltd was keen to push this advanced system at<\/p>\n
Fishing 2005, and took 10 orders, some as leasing packages.<\/p>\n
As ever, Simrad’s navigation equipment, including NavStation and its range<\/p>\n
of autopilots were very popular with many orders taken in Glasgow.<\/p>\n
Additionally, Simrad’s range of DSC VHF radios proved popular with<\/p>\n
skippers, with Simrad Ltd reporting good turnover in this sector.<\/p>\n
