Sulehav lengthened
Sulehav being lengthened
In January 2008 Solund Verft began the prefabrication section for lengthening the vessel Sulehav. Sulehav catches pelagic fish and is owned by Norwegian company Lending Rederi.
In April last year the vessel was brought to the shipyard for the work to begin. Ten metres were added in the middle and two metres were added in the stern, making a total length of 33.33 metres.
Along with lengthening the vessel, Solund Verft also added new cranes, built a new fish factory onboard and installed a new sonar.
The vessel was completed in autumn 2008.
