McMurdo’s new Sales Director for Americas
John Caballero, Sales Director for the Americas
Safety equipment manufacturer, McMurdo Ltd, has appointed John Caballero to the new role of Sales Director for the Americas.
Having joined the company on 4 January 2011, Caballero will be responsible for growing the McMurdo and Kannad Marine brands in North America, South America and Canada.
McMurdo said its decision to create this new role reflects its strengthening global position and ongoing expansion into the US market; Caballero’s initial focus will be to support local distribution in the launch of the Kannad Marine brand in the USA.
Caballero brings over 25 years of sales and marketing experience within the marine sector. Having spent 17 years as Vice President and General Manager for Simrad, plus four years serving with the US Coast Guard as an Electronics Specialist, Caballero has a wealth of experience relating to marine safety and electronic equipment. He has most recently held the position of Regional Sales Manager for Zodiac North America, and has previously held positions at Brunswick Corporation, Time Warner in New York and Sea Vee Boats, where he was Marketing Vice President.
