Nesco Weighing Limited has recently launched the next generation of its Wavecheetah range of marine weighing systems.

Wavecheetah II has been developed with the help of top Danish skipper Verner Moller Jensen and one of his boats, the Juli-Ane.

Nesco installed the Wavecheetah II onto the Juli-Ane in March after detailed consultation with Mr Jensen over 14 months. "The sea trials will enable us to refine and customise the machine to the exact requirements of the boat's crew," said Gordon Norman, technical sales director of Nesco.

Wavecheetah II has extensive features that Nesco says have not been used in the marine weighing environment previously, including touchscreen and multi function applications. The system can link to and act as an E-log system for when the new regulation comes into force.
