3X Technology has launched a bleeding and chilling tank for aquaculture

The new product in 3X Technology’s product portfolio is a bleeding and chilling tank for aquaculture fish.

The tanks are based on the screw technology that ensures all fish gets the exact same treatment, and 3X Technology says it is easy to ensure the same treatment whether the tanks are used to bleeding of fish or to chill fish before packing or further processing.

The tanks come with a new patent pending injection and control system that gives the producer the opportunity to control injection of water/cooling refrigerant into each compartment of the tank according to the needs at any time.

The new injection and control system controls and regulates the water flow and temperature in the tank more accurately than ever before. All measured temperatures, water and energy use, and process control values are registered and stored in the system, giving the user possibility to trace the production and view tank data back in time. This new patent pending injection system keeps the water in the tank cleaner compared to previous methods, leading to much cleaner fish leaving the tank compared to other systems.

As an option the tanks can be offered with a side loading conveyor that is used to control the quantity of fish in each compartment of the tank. Fish can be counted and controlled into each compartment.
