The prices for compacted EPS (expanded polystyrene) fish boxes are almost the highest they have been in a decade.
RUNI says it has chosen to put this bad news to good use – for the fish industry.
RUNI offers to deliver and install a fish box compactor based on receiving payment in the shape of compacted EPS blocks. No payment required and RUNI arranges transport. All the customer needs to do is call RUNI to order a truck and load the pallets.
The company says that customers save costs in three steps. First there is the internal handling of boxes at the line and in the yard. Secondly there is the transport to landfill and finally there is the tipping fee at the landfill.
In the packing facility, an automatic line with a roller belt makes it possible to simply load the box right by the line and not deal with it before handling the compacted blocks.
