A UK fisheries vessel monitoring system (VMS) tender has been awarded to a consortium including UK satellite communications expert, AST Marine Sciences Ltd (ASR MSL) and Slovenia's EMA Group, the satellite tracking systems research and development specialist.
After winning the UK fisheries tender for new the Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) and Electronic Reporting System (ERS), based on the BlueTraker® VMS, the AST-EMA consortium has been awarded type approval.
EMA Group’s BlueTraker® VMS fisheries monitoring satellite terminals have received Type Approval from the Indonesian Directorate General of Resources and Equipment, allowing sales and installations throughout the Republic of Indonesia.
